I was sitting on the sidewalk somewhere in Scheveningen talking on the phone with my dear friend Jesse. The Drums Gathering on Scheveningen beach was magnificent and I was still in a glowing state of gratitude and joy. Enthusiastically I gave him an update on the recent happenings in my life and shared how everything just falls into place all of the time. The effortless flow of life is easily moving its way through my being and I love it.
At some point in our inspiring conversation, a woman passes by and stops her bike abruptly in the middle of the road just a few meters away from me. From the corner of my eye I see her staring at me. Oh well… I didn’t give it much attention. Suddenly the lady approaches me. “Are you, are you…..?” she stutters. “My name is Sandra,” I replied laughing. “Yes, yesss you are Sandra!” she exclaims with a Spanish accent. “This is amazing! I’m from Spain and I started following your transmissions from when you lived in Costa Rica. I think your sounds are amazing. And now I live in Scheveningen since three weeks and I get to bump into you here on the street!” What a surprising moment. You can’t make this up, can you? After a long big warm hug and probably with the same smile on her face as I had she stepped on her bike and rode towards the beach.
On my way back to Amsterdam two similar miraculous experiences bubbled to the surface of my memory and I just couldn’t stop smiling. Life can be so funny…
It was August 2020. I had just set up my tent on some desolated camping spot with Mount Shasta kilometers away in the backdrop. I sat on a big stone on the side of a little road in the middle of a forest with just enough internet to check my email and do a little ‘work’. I was a digital nomad after all ;-). “I need to wrap it up, because it’s getting cold and dark”, I thought. Then suddenly a car passes by and abruptly stops a few meters away from me. “Are you Sandra de Vos??” “Huh? Well, yess, that’s me indeed,” I replied surprised. “I am Kindra!” She exclaimed. This woman from California who has followed many of my transmissions just recognized my face underneath my hat, in the almost darkness, in the middle of nowhere… I was impressed...
And then this one:
It was November 2020. I had come down to Sedona Arizona and was on a mission that concerned the Navajo Indians. Over 20 years ago I was gifted a silver bracelet from a Navajo woman while waiting in line for a public toilet somewhere in Monument Valley. This time I had to find out why I felt so connected to the Navajo’s. So I went to Kachina House, a shop where I would probably find more clues that would lead me to the next step on my journey of discovery. I entered the place and accidentally bumped into an American guy who was probably as fascinated as me about the Native Americans. Suddenly he looks at me with big round eyes. Shocked. I stepped aside and thought I would discretely leave him in his moment of whatever was going on. But he kept staring at me. “Are you, are you… It’s you, Sandra de Vos!” he finally seemed to figure out… “Yes indeed, that’s me :-).” “I’ve been listening to your transmissions on YouTube!” I couldn’t help but feel a bit uncomfortable by his staring. Like I was some kind of extra terrestrial being. Slowly he calmed down and noticed that I’m just as human as he is ;-). The day after I met with him and his lovely family and we had wonderful conversations.
Fascinated by these cosmic surprises I smile and thank life for showing me the deep magic of the Universe.
Much love ❤️.
